Code of Conduct

Thaitails exists so the furry and anthro community can gather, create and celebrate in person. This code applies to every attendee, guest, vendor, volunteer and staff member, across the whole event footprint — con floor, official hotel, and any official after-parties.

Treat everyone with respect regardless of species, species preference, background, gender identity, orientation or experience level. Consent matters as much in a fursuit as out of one — ask before touching, hugging or petting anyone, suited or not, and accept “no” immediately and without argument.

Harassment policy

Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated: unwelcome physical contact, sexual attention, deliberate intimidation, stalking, or discriminatory jokes and slurs. Staff can remove anyone from the event for a code violation, with no refund, at their discretion.

Fursuit interaction etiquette

Fursuiters have limited visibility, hearing and mobility. Give suiters space to move, let handlers guide interactions, and head to a designated cooling area if you’re overheating — marshals and cooling stations are on hand throughout the parade and the con floor.

Photography and recording

Ask before photographing or filming anyone, suited or not, and stop immediately if asked. Photos taken in designated photo areas with visible signage are considered consented to by default; everywhere else, ask first.

18+ spaces

RAVE // AFTER DARK and any other explicitly marked 18+ space require a wristband, checked at the door with valid government ID. No exceptions.

Reporting a concern

If something happens that shouldn’t have, tell any staff member or head to Con Ops — they can be reached on-site and will keep your report confidential. (TODO: dedicated report email / on-site radio channel before launch.)
